My journey has been built through reinvention. I left a toxic marriage, raised four children as a single parent, and rebuilt my life through resilience, determination, and belief in what was still possible. I returned to education later in life starting without formal qualifications and went on to graduate with a First Class Honours degree in Social Work. From there, I built a successful leadership career, progressing into senior safeguarding and quality assurance within fostering services. On paper, it looked secure, successful, and established.
